Ten Tec transceivers historically have had the fast QSK loved by dedicated
CW operators.   The Omni VI probably was more sensitive than the Icom 746,
thus you should not overlook a factory reconditioned one.  The Jupiter might
be fine for you, if you want to pursue DSP.   Remember though, DSP in any
radio you mentioned, is in the audio, and cannot fix problems of phase
noise, intermodulation, or overload experienced in the RF stages at front
end of receiver.
