[TenTec] Paragon 585 (again)

Those who followed my problem thread remember that I lost sensitivity in the 6.5 to 10.5 range on my Paragon 585. I replaced the diode on the HPF board and it was okay again. For 3 days. Same problem AGAIN. On the same range of freqencies. Oh, how I wish I'd kept my Yaesu 980. 20 years, not 1 problem.  I guess Ten-Tec is for the tinkerer in us. Keeps us being hams instead of appliance operators. Super bowl tomorrow and then I guess I'll pull my tools out and open 'er up again........
