Hi Jim,
Have you tried turning off the computer? I suspect if it's
coming from the computer system it's the monitor. I have a lot of
monitor noise on the TV with this monitor and some on spot
frequencies on HF. Yes it could be the cables. You could slip
some braid over the leads and ground one end, that will usually
take care of cable radiation. I've never found the snap-on
ferrites to do much.
