[TenTec] Orion II Spec's

What are the groups thoughts on this question ?
 
If the O2 replaces the Orion and provides perhaps some enhancements over  the 
Orion that, again perhaps, were used to correct some shortcomings in the  
original radio then why any increase in price ? The color display ?
 
I have a 706 MK II G and as I recall the various upgrades from the original  
706 did not carry any material price increases.
