[TenTec] Astron RS-35M and Omni VI

Bill,

I have 2 RS-35M power supplies.  When they are powered on, they sometimes
make quite a kick noise as a result of the surge of current to charge the
internal capacitors.  This has never hurt anything.  The only thing I can
guess for the 720 ohm resistor is that it is there to bleed down the output
voltage when the supply is turned off.  I have never heard of anyone doing
this.
