It's tough and it doesnt make much difference. I take off the rubber rings
and loosen up the knob with the hex wrench and push/pull it it or out to set
the drag.

According to the Omni 6 manual, tuning knob drag (friction) is adjustable
by
holding the chrome knob flange still while rotating the knob  itself. What's
the trick to accomplishing that without damage? I don't see  any way to grab
the flange.
