[TenTec] Noise Blanker in Corsair

               The blanker in my Corsair is somewhat effective on noise from arcing power line 
                  insulators.       
                  Seems to reduce ignition noise which is rare, usually neighbors leaf blower.
                  It has no effect on atmospheric noise which is to be expected. In A/B com-
                  parison, with ICOM 706, the Corsair has less noise of it's own. So, any out-
                  side noise is noticed.
