[TenTec] O2 Tx Audio

I have received nothing but compliments on my tx audio using Orion II and Studio One mike. As with almost everything else with the Orion II, it takes some study and care setting it up. I plugged a cassette recorder into the monitor output and went through numerous settings of TxEQ, Low Freq Cutoff and Speech Processing stating into the microphone what each setting was while transmitting into a dummy load. I then played the recorder back through my home stereo with no sound (base or treble) enhancement and selected the one that sounded the most natural for those 75 meter rag chews, the most piercing and penetrating for dx pileups, etc. I got the XYL to also verify the “natural” sound.

Just a suggestion on what worked for me.
