         Carl, this is why I always set DSP = 6000
when checking roofing filters, so that it does
not interfere with the upper edge of the roofing
filter response.  And of course DSP always truncates
at 0 Hz no matter what DSP BW is set to (100 to 6000).

         Lee, the only thing to remember when using
narrow SSB filters on Orion (roofing or DSP) is to
set PBT to a minimum of +150...more if you need
very narrow BW (such as 1500 Hz).  If you don't do
this the audio will be difficult to copy even at
1800 Hz BW.
