Hello John, I bought a new Astron ss-30m switching ps. It eat my Jupiter up about 2 years ago. Raspy cw on rx and tx. Pulled the VFO readout off by 300hz. This was verified by 2 hams in qso. Moved about 4 feet away an alls well. I think the Jupe is more susceptable to interferance. Gud luck, Roger W4IV.
