John, Thanks, you did answer most of my questions. You said: "The ALC is a variable setting to limit output." Is that TX RF output, or RX audio output? I don't see any AGC controls. Does the rig have AGC on the receiver? Is it audio derived or in the IF? Does it have different AGC action depending on mode selected? Thanks again, Ken N6KB
