[TenTec] Tuning Knobs and S meter

As a happy owner of both an Orion II and an Omni VI+, I am wondering if
the Orion tuning knob will fit on the Omni.
Anyone know how to remove the tuning knob?

Also, my Orion II S meter seems exceedingly generous.  It even reads
about s5 with no antenna connected.  Doesn't seem quite right.
I can't find anything about adjusting it in the manual.  Anyone know how
to fix this?
