[TenTec] LDG tuner in O II?

I'm running an Orion II with the LDG antenna tuner built for ORION without
any problems, i.e., as described in the manual.
Concerning the use of the tuner for the first time or with a new antenna,
you will need to program the tuner with matches. You accomplish the initial
tuning by pressing and holding Orion's 'Tune' button in until the tuner
completes its tuning cycle for that particular frequency (takes seconds
depending how bad the mismatch) and loads the frequency/match parameters
into is memory. I did above initial tuning every 10 or 20 KHz across each
band.
Then in 'normal' radio use and when changing bands or moving across a band,
I 'tap' the Orion's Tune button. The LDG tuner quickly tunes (by recalling
the match parameters from its memory) to the predetermined setting near or
on that frequency in its memory.
Remember, for the LDG tuner to work as advertised, you initially have to
tune (program) the LDG tuner described above. Only after this initial
process/programming, you can then 'tap' the Tune button, and the LDG tuner
will quickly go to its pre tuned position for this frequency area.

Page 3 of the manual for the OT-11P says: "Congratulations on selecting
the OT-11P tuner for your Ten-Tec Orion and Orion II transceiver." So,
it appears it is supposed to work with the Orion II.
