[TenTec] Nother' discovery about the Corsair & Titan

I tried to set up my Corsair II with my Elecraft transverters.  It takes 
about 3-4 watts to drive them to the output levels required by my Mirage 
brick amplifiers on 6 and 2 meters.  I can readily use my Argonaut II 
and the Omni V with the transverters, but when I use the Corsair, I have 
problems on SSB with voice peaks overloading the transverters, while the 
average power is fine.  Is this something that I can correct with the 
ALC control?
