[TenTec] QUESTION on AD-1 Headset Adapters for Heil Boomsets

Lee,
I just purchased a Heil adapter to work with my Orion II and Heil mike
directly from Heil.  In speaking with Heil's tech support, he said that they
use a modified Yaesu 8 pin adapter cable.  He said the standard Yaesu
adapter AD-1-Y8 needs to have the ground modified to work correctly with the
Orion II.  If you order as I did from Heil, they make the mod on the Yaesu
adapter for you.
