[TenTec] Mod for Paraagon to 60 meters and other questions

1.  Is it possible to modify a Paragon for 60 meters?
 
2.  Has anyone ever had a problem with the clock that it seems to  freez on a 
time and then if you cycle thru the Display  switch it comes up with the 
correct time?
 
3.  Using a soundcard driven digital modality, is it best to add a pad  to 
the input of the Paragon?  Is it better to use the mic jack as the  input for 
the digital modes on the Audio in and Audio out of the rear of the  Paragon?
