Sorry - that's what distinguishes LotW from eQSL. The cert process is what
assures that it is you who appended your data. That's what drove part of
the high cost to develop it. This makes it nearly impossible to "game" the
system.

I would agree that the process of setting up LOTW is rather cumbersome and I
work in the industry so I am not a stranger to any of this weird science.
I for one am very disappointed on my return rat for qsling and am surprised
that anyone is capable of achieving dxcc let alone WAS on this system.
The young lady that oversees this system is however top notch and I am sure
she is feeling overwhelmed by the amount of work created by this archaic
system.
I agree...LOTW II is in need.
