Grant,

I tried the AN on 7.251 since I knew that there was a foreign broadcast
station as 7.250.  Neither the AN nor the NOTCH had any effect.  I then
tuned the dial to be sure that I needed 1000Hz for the manual notch.  When I
came back to 7.251, both the AN and NOTCH worked!  I am going to have to see
if I can find a pattern and if so, I will send it to Ten-Tec.

Did you try it on other carriers/heterodynes as a test?  (sometime these
"auto" things work, and sometimes they don't depending on many different
factors).   How about the manual notch?
