The cost of the firmware chip is $50.00 plus shipping from Ten-Tec.


When you download and install the new firmware installation file with 
the .exe extension, and run it, it will put a c:/program files/tentec listing in your

'all programs' folder start menu (win xt). It will put all the files in this folder that you will need.
 The two files have names that are obvious if you read the instructions.
 You can update your Jupiter with the CW personality module while you 
are waiting for the new firmware to arrive. It works about as good as
 mixw's cw decoder. Please read all the docs Ten-Tec has published
 before you actually flash your Jupiter so you won't wind up with an
 unuseable Jupiter.
