[TenTec] Titan 425 RF Choke Replacement?

I lost the RF Choke on my Titan 425 shortly after I purchased it April 1990. It is an early export model. Ten-Tec sent me a replacement choke which I installed. Unfortunately one of the tubes was damaged, necessitating a return to Ten-Tec. They replaced both tubes and put in "upgrades" to the then current production specs under warranty. As I understand it, early 425 RF Chokes did have a problem with parasitic currents.... mine failed the first time I attempted to tune it up on 15 Meters after working for weeks on 20 CW. No problems since.

Best regards,
