Nope, that works fine here too. I usually use Color 4 (the Default color),  
but in my test I dialed in several other colors, turned the radio power off 
and  then back on about 60 seconds later. All was well, as each time the 
radio  booted with the color I had selected before shutting down.
 
This thread has been puzzling to say the least. Some of us (me included)  
see no change of the DSP BW setting from shut down to power up, as it should 
be.  Others report that the radio reboots with random (default?) BW settings.
 
I wonder if we have some sort of issue that or upgrade sequence we haven't
