[TenTec] 2.8 filters and Omni V...just won't work

You are going to have to move the carrier frequencies out to the slopes 
of the filter to get back to SSB. That takes a lot of tweaking of the 
shifting trimmers which interact between CW, LSB, and USB. And you will 
be WIDE on the selected side band, a consequence of the wider filter. 
Which I'd agree with those listening is too wide. I got along fine with 
a 2.1 in my Collins rig for decades.
