TenTec 585 Paragon HF transceiver, Desk Microphones and
Stands, and Power Supplies For Sale:

TenTec 585 Paragon HF Transceiver:

The Paragon is a top of the line transceiver that includes a
general coverage receiver. It covers 160-10 meters, including
WARC bands, with 100 watts output. The receiver is fantastic.
It has dual VFOs and many memories built in, along with a
speech processor. Basically, it has about every feature that
a ham could want in an HF rig.

This particular unit works 100% as best I can tell. Since the
rig does so many things, I am sure that there is something I
didn't test, but I don't know what it is (or I would have
tested it!). It has had all updates completed by TenTec.

Cosmetically, it is in extremely nice shape. The front panel
is extremely good. Most all of the lettering is clean and
crisp. This one also has the Giehl chip in it making it
similar to a Paragon II.

Large manual and power cord included for $650.

Desk Microphones:

TenTec 709A Desk Microphone
Model 709A is an omni-directional dynamic microphones designed for
use as a communications station microphone for Amateur Radio and
other transmitting applications. The unit consists of a die-cast
zinc shell with molded sliding PTT on/off switch, dynamic

The element has tailored frequency response from 30 Hz to 12 kHz
designed for excellent transmit audio in SSB, AM, and FM modes.
It has an 8 pin connector as used on the Orion, Eagle and newer
TenTec rigs.
This particular mic works 100% and is still in its original box. $60

Solid 12 inch Extension
Male connection on one end and female on the other, so it can
be used as an extension. Solid chrome plated threaded tubing,
with a small hole so that a mic cable can be brought out of the
center of the tube. Standard 5/8 inch threads. 12 inches long. $10

Triangle Flange
This is a trangle shaped flange that will mount to a desk, board,
or other flat wood or metal object. It is about 2 1/2 by 2 inches,
chrome plated, with mounting hardware. Standard 5/8 inch threads. $8

Heil Wind Screen
This windscreen can be used with a variety of microphones,
including the GM-5 above. Excellent condition. $10

Microphone holders:

Electro Voice
Gray colored EV, designed to hold 5/8 to 3/4 inch diameter mics,
and go into a stand with standard 5/8 inch threads. $5

Chrome Mic holder
Similar to EV holder, but chrome metal with a green felt on the
inside to protect the mic. For 1/2 inch to 5/8 inch diameter
microphones. Standard 5/8 inch threads. $5

TenTec Power Supplies:

TenTec Model 280 power supply, 20 amps at 13 V DC
This supply is quite heavy duty electrically. It has 2 pass
transistors, instead of the one that some have. It also has an
ammeter on it.
This one works fine, and looks OK as well.
With paper work for $100.

"Switcher / 25" 25 amp switching power supply:
This is a 25 amp switching power supply in a case that
matches the early Omni series case, with the metal bezel
around it. It is in a case that is the same size as a 243
remote VFO. It has an ammeter on the front, along with
Switch, TenTec logo, and output bulb. The front panel
basically looks like a 280 power supply with a metal bezel,
but says "Switcher/25" on it. It is very quiet, and well
shielded, and does not produce any electrical noise that
I could find. $150

"Rigblaster Plus / USB" Digital Interface:

Rigblaster Plus / USB by West Mountain Radio
A RIGblaster is the easiest way to connect your radio to
a computer so that you may operate using over 100 existing
and future ham radio sound card software programs.
You will be able to operate over 20 exciting modes that
your radio could not operate otherwise.

Presently available ham radio sound card software, a RIGblaster,
a radio and a computer is the easy and modern way to operate
with every existing or future Amateur Radio sound card program.

This particular unit is complete, in its original box, with all
of the items listed on the enclosed paper work. Software CD is
included, along with many cables. It looks like this unit may
not have ever been used. Most bags appear that they have not
been opened.

West Mountain sells these for about $160. Buy this one for
only $110.

Prices do not include shipping from Florida.

Thanks.
