[TenTec] Orion gain setting

Scott et All,

One great advantage in the ORION is you can tweak every different AGC
setting, not just the "Prog".

So whatever your choice of operating, you can match it in the settings
at will.

My example:
Slow: 0.73s , 10dB/s
Medium: 0.21s, 25dB/s
Fast: 0.08s, 80dB/s
Prog: 0.08s, 20dB/s

There is no science in the above, they are just the result of operating
the ORION (fw 1.373b5) from 2004 onwards.
I use the RF Gain vs AF volume in a 80/20 ratio and have it usually set
between 50-84, depending on antenna and band/ conditions.

Your mileage may vary.
