[TenTec] Orion's break in

On the Orion II:

If you go to:

MENUS , TX, there is an EXT T/T Delay1 (or Delay 2) and that

"provides "hang time" for non-QSK linear amplifier"

If you go to:

MENUS, CW, There is a CW QSK Delay that "Allows the operator to slow the QSK operation in CW transmit. A higher value represents more transmit/receive delay between individual transmitgted CW characters. This delay control also controls the deelay of the QSK amplifier keying loops and the delay set for outputs at AMP KEY 1 and AMP KEY 2. The default value is 20%."

The above is from my Orion II manual.

The part that is a bit vague to me is the default of 20% in the CW menu. I should think that a delay of 0% would be true QSK, similar to my Omni VI+, but I have no way to measure it. I'm sure that John Henry can teoll us what value to set to have the same performance as the older Omni VI, and Corsair II had.

Two relays?
