[TenTec] Adding headset boom mic to headphones?

Barry,

I use an old Diazor Lamp (drafting table type) to be the boom for my mic. 
That is one less wire hanging out there toward you.  They are found at
garage sales and usually have broken wires, but built like a battleship
and will hold a 1-2 pound mic!
