As I understand it, the reason for discontinuing the V was that the
supplier of the meters was no longer making them. While reading this
thread, I looked over at my LDG AT200Pro. The solution to the V problem
is there--LED meter. Don't know if it is more expensive than the analog
version (cost\unit). Maybe that feature is incorporated into the VI.
Besides the V is a moot point. By now it costs the same as the VI.
