Am I grounded O.K.

We live in a Triplex and I have an apartment on each side . All of the
Hot/Cold water pipes which are 1/2" copper are buried under the concrete
slab at about 18" down. Of course the Hot water pipes are insulated, so I
am sure they make for an high impedance/resistance to earth, if any at all
except for any connection to the cold water pipes at the 3 water heaters
recpectively. My station ground consists of a copper strip about 4" wide
and 4' long which every piece of equipment is well bonded to. The ground
wire is #2 stranded copper less than 5 feet long connected directly to the
water pipes. From the water pipes another piece of #2 stranded copper wire
less than 3 feet long runs through the brick wall to the electrical service
ground which I have beefed up by adding another 10 foot copper clad ground
rod.  Also, bonded to the Cable TV ground rod in same manner about 6 feet
................ So, have I done it correctly? ..............  My HF
antenna is a flat top dipole at around 40 feet and fed with 450 ohm Ladder
Line. What I can tell everyone is that IF, we unhook the ground system at
40 meters or 160 meters there is so much RF on my signal that it makes it
very hard for folks to copy my station. On 75/80 meters I can get by until
the Amplifier comes online. With the grounds we are Fine Business.

Yes, Airplanes, Space Shuttle/Station, Rockets and Hot Air Balloons may
transmit without grounds but, in my experience MY station works better and
I have much less noise with the station grounded,
