[TenTec] Orion Problem

That's odd, when I was fixing my cap problem, the tech said they could not sell
me the board. I had to send it in for repair only. 

Maybe I talked to wrong guy. It was their Service Dept. Maybe you talked to 
Sales? 

Anyway, I repaired the problem myself, so all is working well now.

I called Ten-Tec last week and ordered the A-9 board. It arrived yesterday
and took about 10 minutes to install. The radio is working great now. It
also cured a noise problem I was experiencing. Thanks for the suggestion.

I just finished fixing the same exact problem last Sunday.

The Power board is kapooot!  You can buy new from Ten Tec  $65.00 plus
shipping etc.

Or there was a post here on the list a few days ago about the type of
replacement caps to buy.

Not a big project.
