The AUX cable does NOT bring out the FSK output that you need.  You will need to build an new cable or purchase one.  This issue was discussed earlier on:

You can do AFSK with the stock cable but not FSK.

Hello ! I have just connected the TenTec Model 712 USB to the Aux/I on my Orion 
II and ran MixW on my PC .The programme is reading the Digi fsk signals ok but 
i can not get the programme configed to transmit /send a sig I have the 
programme set for the TenTec Orion II and have gone into the menu on the Orion 
II and changed the TX Audio source to Aux instead Mic.Still will not force the 
transciever to TX a digi sig ?? Can anyone help ? 73'es Tony EI6DL
