I agree, but based on the previous stated tests, i.e. 5 dB loss at 26 MHz,
as frequency decreases so does feedline loss. Based on extrapolated
numbers, to get 5 dB loss on open wire line at 1.8 MHz the length would need
to about 16,000 ft or so. Even for 450 ohm dry window line the 5 dB loss
figure for 1.8 MHz is about 13,000 ft. Not very typical in my thinking.
