Although one would initially think so, the radio typically draws different
amounts of current on different bands. Usually 75M & 40M are the least at
around 18 amps while 12M & 10M are the greatest current demans at some 22
amps. In this case the current demand is some 20% more on 12M & 10M than on
the other bands. I really perceive two issuses one being IR loss in the
power cable and connectors and the 2nd being the likely need for a TX Gain
alignment for a couple of bands.
