[TenTec] Corsair II UV EPROM failure

Hi Guys,
I can get the boards from China for about $3 each. I have a good friend who
can convert the ExpressPCB format to the Gerber format. I would have to buy
10 boards at a time. I would also have to cut the boards to size myself. I
might be able to get my friend to cut them apart. Maybe we could get
another group buy going. What do you guys think?

Thanks, Steve,

I guess what they say is so true, there is no such thing as a free lunch.

The pcb house I use could make those for about $5-8 a copy (100 pc lots) if
they have the gerber 247 files (industry standard)

I also use a company that panelizes boards and with a small run of maybe 25
copies, the price should be about (I’m guess here!) $10-$15 a pop.

I wonder what the conversion would cost from ExpressPCB?

Then again, if you don’t have an issue, i could lay out a new pcb and bypass
express all together. I’ll take a look at the schematic and see what’s going
on.

I normally use a program called Circad to lay out pcbs, but this will give
me an excuse to teach myself Eagle PCB Cad.
