[TenTec] Alpha Amplifiers and TEN-TEC Merge

Adding to Jim's comments, Al also kept CQWW DX contest running (together
with W4KFC) for several years when CQ Magazine dumped it. A few years
later, new management at CQ magazine asked to have their contest back.

At the same time, let's thank Jack Burchfield for continuing to run a
service-oriented company after Al's passing. Few other companies (maybe
none) did as much to try and repair very old radios for their customers.

Al and Jack are both members of the Hall of Fame. With good reason!

Let's not forget the guy I consider more important in making Ten Tec the
great company that it was, Al Kahn, K4FW. Ten Tec was the second great
company he started and ran until his partner Lou Burroughs wanted to cash
out -- Electro-Voice. Without any fanfare, Al kept ARRL going during WW11,
and was very supportive of Heathkit.
