[TenTec] Omni V deaf and won't transmit on 20m

I recently fired up my Omni V before planning to fit a 9MHz IF SDR 
panadapter. I have a 9MHz SDR and am about to build a SMD IF buffer amp.

All bands except 20m work fine. On 20m I can hear nothing and the rig 
doesn't transmit. It may be a loose connection in the xtal set for the 
local oscillator, but I'm not sure.

Any help in finding the cause would be much appreciated!
