[TenTec] HRD omni vii serial parameters

[KA9EGW]

Can someone enlighten me on the proper DTR, CTS and RTS settings to use ham radio deluxe with an omni vii?  Is there something in the menu, or an undocumented switch or jumper setting, that needs turned on to enable the serial port?  Thank, Brian KA9EGW
