[TenTec] HRD omni vii serial parameters

[KA9EGW]

Either I have a bad serial cable, or a null modem cable not marked as such.
Tried a 2nd cable, all is well. 73, Brian KA9EGW

Can someone enlighten me on the proper DTR, CTS and RTS settings to use ham
radio deluxe with an omni vii?  Is there something in the menu, or an
undocumented switch or jumper setting, that needs turned on to enable the
