Old radio equipment -vs- older computers.

There is one truth. The lack of support for older software based units
is tied directly the ability to force sales of new equipment. Look at
the reality of using non-software based units (RL-Drake for example)
where units can be used for periods that dwarf software based products.

Remember: Most software is licensed. So, watch in the future for a date
where licensed software will just plain expire making a market for older
units that can be used only as boat anchors or paperweights.

Will the TEN-TEC of the future be any different?

Just my thoughts.
