[TenTec] Looks like company is fading away

Well Jim,

I'd love to own a power amp, or even an amp (again). Haven't had one since I had to sell off my two SB-200's & HT-41 over 12 years ago due to (lack of) job issues.

And if I could buy one right now, new or used, I'd love it to be a Ten-Tec or an Alpha.

The shekels, though, just ain't there right now. And with Little Miss Field Day going off to college in the fall (donations towards her education welcome!), there likely won't be in the near future.

So. while I may or may not be considered a "true believer" (I'd say "true blue believer" but, while the dot has been black, orange, or red, I don't think it's ever been blue... at least, not from the factory), there are extenuating circumstances that prevent me from currently owning an amp.

(Now, if anyone has a working spare amp that they'd like to donate to me, I won't turn that down either!)

Thanks Frank. No question about the quality of the Ten Tec amps. I'm
quite happy with mine too. But I think the answer to my question is
that, among this group of "true believers," only a few own a Ten Tec
power amp, and only two of those were purchased directly from Ten Tec in
the past 20 years. Or did I miss someone?
