[TenTec] OMNI VII/Audio distortion on six meters

Guys,
     Got the OMNI VII back on six meters the other day and have had reports of audio distortion.  In the past all audio reports were always excellent.
When I put the beam back up forgot the balun and thought that might be it, but wound about six turns of coax under feedpoint creating a balun and still have distortion.  Do not think I am overdriving it as ALC lights up as I speak.  Any thoughts are appreciated.  Thanks, Jim, K4CFA
