Rick,

Agree, the SKY-SDR is really surprising. I use mine more than 90% of the time, 8w out. My ORION II is getting dusty.. 
Suggestion: Make the VFO knob to facilitate cw speed adjustment by pressing its switch (keyer adjustment and barring RF out while pressing)? The switch on the VFO encoder seems not to be used yet, Firmware update?
