Well this morning I put a strong light and a fresh pair of eyes on the power supply board. Now it is obvious.  From where the secondary attaches to the power supply board, about an inch toward the front panel, I can see a burnt spot on component side of the board plus one of the traces is vaporized.   So, I guess I need to rebuild or replace that board. It looks like a booger to get out. Any hints on the easiest way to get it out?  Am I thinking correctly when I am surmising that it's probably a bad cap or diode and not transformer related since none of the fuses blew?  Thanks for all of your helpMike WB0SND

Does anyone know what LEDs were used in the Omni VI? I have a bad PROC
indicator LED and wondered if something like this will work

Well I was using my Centurion tonight in the CW Open. ?All was fine until ....BANG! ?When I went to test it later, there was no plate voltage. I don't see anything obvious. ?I pulled the tubas and still no plate voltage. ?Testing the secondary of the power transformer showed 50 ohms across the secondary and 1 megohm plus from either end to ground. I haven't tested further. ?Anybody have any suggestions?

First, make sure all filter caps are discharged. Next I would check all
HV rectifier diodes ... then we'll see where we go from there.
