If the Omni has provisions for an external receive antenna, the first thing I would do is select the external RX antenna, and put an antenna on that RF connector. If the problem clears, then I'd look for a wiring error on the replacement relay, or a misaligned in-line connector if any were removed during the repair process. Pete W1BR
