Good afternoon All

Careful with the Windex! It contains ammonia, the vapors of which will quickly tarnish the connectors and copper parts.

If you are cleaning the knobs with Windex (I do, it works great!) remove them from the radio, and work in the sink. Once you have scrubbed them with Windex, a quick rinse with warm water really cleans them up. Dry thoroughly, inside and out.

If you are cleaning with the knobs and buttons still on the rig, use only s slightly moist terrycloth towel with a mild cleaner, taking great care not to allow moisture to enter the equipment.

73,

AA2PM, Paul Mondok

What?s a good solution for cleaning the face of an OMNI VI? It?s mostly collected dust in the grooves of the external knobs and push buttons.

Thanks,
