[TenTec] Paragon 585

Hi All

While waiting for Argosy 2 bits i decided to take a look at the paragon 
585 i have laying about being a idle/lazy radio.

Can't remember why it was put to 1 side (till now) on powering it up the 
first thing i noticed was that the display  wasn't working, checked the 
reset button, it was broken. replaced that and the display came on, hah 
i thought solved, also saw that the back up battery had failed or was 
flat, battery connector was starting to suffer from the green corrosion 
so i ordered a replacement, next i turned off radio, when i turned it on 
again, no display!, pressed the reset button and it worked.

Studying the diagram it seems that U8 pin 2 is the IRQ or wake up line, 
Q4 seems to be misbehaving?.

Any of you learned gents able to confirm that or have you met this 
problem and what did you do to cure it.
