[TenTec] Ten-Tec PTO Alignment Question

*I just finished doing two PTOs, one for a C-21 Digital, one for a 
C-22.  Not as hard as I once thought it might have been.  All silky 
smooth now.  But now I have a question as to the PTO alignment.  Looking 
through a number of Ten-Tec manuals, seems the PTO is the same in many 
models, I'm to adjust cores L1 and L2. *

*Question is, looking into the PTO when it is open (so you can see the 
insides) before putting it back into the radio, which core is L1 and 
L2?  No manual describes that in enough detail for me to determine which 
is which.  So I'm assuming (always a dangerous assumption) the top slug 
is L1 and the bottom is L2.  Can anyone confirm that please?  Thank
