Drift during the first half hour of operation is normal.  There is also a
750 Hz transmitter off set in CW mode.  Is this the TX/RX alignment you are
referring to?

Assuming that the unit you purchased is in good condition, I think you will
enjoy using it once you become accustomed to some of its "personality".
