My first SP contest and was very impressed with the operation in
general. I didn't have the right mindset going in and initially had
some troubles with the exchange but that rapidly went away. My 160
meter dipole, low apex, 50 or so feet, was a good listening antenna in
the early morning for JA/VK. (Plans in the works for a EWE or Beverage
if I can encroach on the neighbors wooded property some) I Could hear
them on the dipole much better than the tower. Contacts were 251 (wish
it were 252 but H44IO wasn't giving grid square info when I worked him)
28 of which were DX countries. Equipment here is a TS940S barefoot
<100watts, shunt fed tower, and 160 meter dipole open wire feed.

To N6TR and the crew that organized it, great contest, I'll be back to
operate in it again.
