TopBand: AMERITRON AL811/H

I have an acquaintance who would like to get on 160 with a little more power
than 100 watts but he is on a bit of a budget.  He has a chance to buy a
used AL811 (it might be the H version).  My question: can anyone provide
some comments as to how well it works on 160 (ie- will it provide rated
power output on 160 if driven sanely, will it tune the lower 50 khz to full
output, etc.)  I have absolutely no information on this amp except that when
I saw it at Dayton it looked like it was well constructed, the specs look OK
for a low power amp, and it is priced "right" on the used market.

I would like to pass on any feedback to my friend.  He intends to drive it
with a Johnson Ranger and would be thrilled if he could get 300 or so watts out.
