TopBand: VK9LX

After three frustrating mornings getting up at three a.m. and hearing VK9LX
weak but crystal clear for hours, my XYL says "Relax, you don't need another
card from there surely."
So I get up this morning about 7 (1500Z), switch on the rig, and there he is
calling CQ on 1822 with no takers. I work him and he goes QSX JA, works a
few, then works UN5J and quits, by which time he has built to 579.
Nothing else on the band except the ZL GPS and a W7 calling CQ.
